Laying the Foundation for the FIRST...

The Youth Ambassadors would like to thank Herold 'Dessa'  Raymond for speaking at their weekly meeting yesterday.

Dessa is a summer intern with our partners at the The Conservation Fund, based in Chapel Hill, NC. Yesterday evening he spoke with the Youth Ambassadors about chartering the very first Youth Food Policy Council in North Carolina. Chartering a Youth Food Policy Council will further the Youth Ambassadors efforts to make changes that better support the needs of their family, friends, and communities. The Youth Ambassadors are very excited about implementing and saving the people, and places we care most about through healthy eating and active leaving.
